I’m a Seattle based UX/UI and graphic designer. Post-graduation from the University of Washington's design program and I worked as a designer for the information design firm Schema, on the digital team for the design and branding agency Tether, and am currently a vendor designer on the M365 Admin Center Design System team at Microsoft.

Before my life in design I worked as an exhibiting photographer while also being a darkroom and studio coordinator, film lab technician, volunteer coordinator, radio/house party DJ, audio editor, record collector/amateur musicologist, and language student/vagabond in Japan – mostly in that order. Having experienced this range of mostly detail oriented, aesthetic driven, or entertainment focused work is what drew me to design. I grew to realize I wanted to collaborate with people to make things to be enjoyed by people and to also have the challenge of finding order or narrative in complex and abstract problems.

I hold a BDes in Visual Communication Design (attention to: typography, design systems, information design, publication design, exhibition design, and design systems for screen and mobile) and a BA with focuses in Fine Art, Photography, and Japanese Language/Culture (curriculum designed to include: commercial photo production and independent study, modern art history, and Japanese intensive/study abroad).
